Kaki King usually bores me to tears because most of her material is instrumental and I'm the kind of guy that needs some vocals. She's gotten better with every album and is really starting to grow on me. I stumbled across her cover of Justin Timberlake's 'I Think She Knows' and instantly fell in love. I can't stop listening to it. It's so simple but it just sounds so amazing to me. What do you think?

Clap (See The Stars) by The Myrmidons is one of those songs that I always seem to forget about but just happens to play every so often when my iPod is on shuffle. I first heard it in 2006 when made to watch Another Gay Movie by my friend Shawn. The soundtrack introduced me to a few of my favorite songs and made the movie worth sitting through. The Myrmidons are Ted Ottaviano (Book of Love; Doubleplusgood), Lauren Johnson (Book of Love) and Lori Lindsay (The Prissteens). A year or so after hearing them on the aformentioned soundtrack, my good friend Max sent me a three-track promo EP he'd accquired from the radio station he directs. I've been anxiously awaiting a full-length follow-up release ever since.

Kelley Polar has been a favorite of mine since Love Songs Of The Hanging Gardens. His latest single, Entropy Reigns (In The Celestial City), puts me over the edge. It makes my insides melt every time I hear it. It makes me want to rollerskate on cocaine in a shower of glitter... Yes, it's that gay. There's not a video for Entropy Reigns so the video below is for Chrysanthemum, the first single he released from his latest album... not a favorite but it'll have to do. Get into it...

The Bird And The Bee is my current obsession. Their first album along with the various EPs they've released won me over from the start but their new album is even better. They have yet to release even one song that I haven't fallen in love with. Inara George has the smoothest voice I've ever heard and Greg Kurstin is a musical genius.
